Hey everybody, We almost had the entire cinema room for ourselves, but one man decided to join us at the very last moment. Well I wouldn't really call it joining because I'm pretty sure I heard him snoring just before the break. He apparently didn't found it as interesting as we did. Such a shame. Demolition is a strange story, a very strange story. But that allows it to become really funny sometimes. Luckily some of the weird situations never become improbable. The funny moments are well balanced by the serious ones. In that movie the movie never feels to heavy or to light. It's a different view of life, but one you must see. An incredible job done by Jake Gyllenhaal en Naomi Watts. MovieManouk 4/5  

Hoi allemaal, Bijna hadden we de zaal voor ons alleen, maar op het laatste moment kwam er toch nog iemand ons vergezellen. Nou ja, vergezellen? Vlak voor de pauze meenden we toch dat we hem hoorde snurken. Hij vond het blijkbaar niet zo heel erg interessant, maar wij gelukkig wel! Demolition is het verhaal van succesvol zakenman Davis Mitchell die tijdens een auto-ongeluk zijn vrouw verliest. Op de intensive care afdeling van het ziekenhuis krijgt hij het aan de stok met een niet functionerende snoepautomaat. Hij besluit een persoonlijke en emotionele brief te schrijven aan het bedrijf dat de machines produceert. Deze brief wordt opgevangen door Karin van de Klantenservice, die erg geraakt is door zijn verhaal. Ze stuurt een antwoord en er ontstaat een bijzondere band. Davis realiseert zich ook dat als je iets wilt maken, je het eerst uit elkaar moet halen en uit moet vinden wat nu echt belangrijk is. Hey everybody, 'Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife.' Oops, I forgot that you were already reading along. I'm sorry but that song is so catchy. It's going to be stuck in my head for the next couple of days. Do you remember when I said I wasn't a big fan of the fact that they are going to remake all the Disney classics into live action versions. I partially take that back, this film restored my fate that many more beautiful movies can follow. Do you know how I know that I'm really looking forward to a movie: I keep rewatching the trailer over and over again. That was the case with this trailer. I was so fascinated by the imagery and the conversations between Mowgli and the animals. My expectations came true. This film is a visiual masterpiece. That and the voicecast made it an incredible adventure. Shere Khan was a good villian with a solid backstory to 'justify' his actions. It never...

Hoi allemaal, 'Als je van beren leren kan, van slimme beren leren kan is dat iets wat je echt proberen moet.' Oeps, sorry, helemaal vergeten dat jullie al aan het meelezen waren. Dat liedje blijft ook zo lang hangen, die krijg ik de komende week niet uit mijn hoofd gok ik. Kunnen jullie je nog herinneren dat ik zei dat ik niet zo'n fan was van het feit dat ze alle Disney klassieker tot live-action films gingen maken. Dat neem ik gedeeltelijk terug, want deze film heeft mij het vertrouwen terug gegeven dat er nog veel mooie films kunnen volgen. The Jungle Book is het klassieke verhaal van mensenjong Mowgli, die opgroeit in de jungle als lid van de wolvenfamilie en onder het waakzame oog van de panter die hem ooit vond: Bagheera. Hey everybody, Animationmovies are my great weakness. Even though I'm almost twenty years old I still absolutely love them. They aren't many things that can go wrong in an animation. You know the reason why I still love these movies, because they also put some solid adult humor in, which I'm now finally understanding and it's hilarious. And let me tell you guys a little secret: this movie does that so well and it will be so much fun for both parents and children alike You know what makes the Kung Fu Panda movies great: they make these movies with their heart in the right place. Po always stays that same slightly immature panda and there are even more pandas thrown into the mix. Don't we all love pandas? And as always, they come with another great lesson about life: never stop believing in yourself, who you are and what you can accomplish! What a way to inspire so many children. Hey everybody, I am not really the type for a feelgood movie. But even I need the get out of the superhero genre for a while. And let's be honest, I went to see this movie for Hugh Jackman. Why? Do I really need to explain? It's Hugh Jackman. Besides that even I sometimes love it to watch such an inspirational story about courage and never giving up. Those stories are the reason I keep writing my blog. I never knew Eddie the Eagle. I wasn't born yet and so I never knew the character he must have been. But I can imagine that a lot of people must have felt inspired by him. A man who has never given up his dream to be an Olympic athlete. Taron Egerton has done an amazing job portraying this extraordinary man. I was suprised how little people showed up at the movietheatre because I advise everyone to go see this funny and inspirational story. MovieManouk 4/5

Hoi allemaal, Ah wat heerlijk. Zo'n feelgood film. Ik hoor je wel denken, daar ben je toch niet echt een type voor? Nee, het ligt misschien wat buiten mijn straatje, maar ook ik vind het heerlijk om af en toe een verhaal te horen van inspiratie. Geef je dromen nooit op! Absoluut niet en daarom ga ik ook vooral door met bloggen. Eddie the Eagle is het verhaal van Eddie Edwards die er altijd al van gedroomd heeft om een Olympische sporter te worden. Toch is niet iedereen, waaronder zijn vader, ervan overtuigd dat dit hem gaat lukken. Ondanks alle tegenspoed geeft hij niet op. Met behulp van zijn nieuwe coach Bronson Peary werkt hij zich met veel vallen en opstaan omhoog om zijn droom waar te maken. Shall the Eagle ever fly? Ik zal het maar heel eerlijk zeggen: ik ben deze film gaan zien vanwege Hugh Jackman. Waarom? Moet je dat nog vragen? Het is Hugh Jackman. Daarnaast speelt ook Taron Edgerton een fantastische rol.
