The Jungle Book (EN) Review

Hey everybody,

'Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife.' Oops, I forgot that you were already reading along. I'm sorry but that song is so catchy. It's going to be stuck in my head for the next couple of days. Do you remember when I said I wasn't a big fan of the fact that they are going to remake all the Disney classics into live action versions. I partially take that back, this film restored my fate that many more beautiful movies can follow.

Do you know how I know that I'm really looking forward to a movie: I keep rewatching the trailer over and over again. That was the case with this trailer. I was so fascinated by the imagery and the conversations between Mowgli and the animals. My expectations came true. This film is a visiual masterpiece. That and the voicecast made it an incredible adventure. Shere Khan was a good villian with a solid backstory to 'justify' his actions. It never get boring and the ending is fenomenal.

Split (EN) Review

Hey everybody, I'm actually writing this review now because I'm too scared to go to sleep. I just got out of a screening of  Split . I don't know if I'll be able to describe what I am feeling right now. James McAvoy had already proven that he was a great actor but this performance just blew me away. He was aboslutely astonishing and very convincing as Kevin, Dennis or any of the other personalities. He portrayed each and any of one them in a unique way. It was amazing to see the changes in his face when he switched from personality to personality. I'm not a fan of horror movies and I wasn't convinced this was going to be my kind of movie, but the fact that it got registered as thriller mainly convinced me. Nonetheless it was a big step for me, I found the story very interesting, not that thrilling even in the beginning, and I thought I was going to be save. Inferno (EN) Review

Hey everybody, Finally another movie adaptation of a Dan Brown novel. I love his books, they are the perfect mix of history and action. I also am a great fan of their movie adaptations, despite what critics say, both  The Da Vince Code  (2006) and  Angels & Demons  (2009) are great movies, carried by one of my favorite Hollywood actors: Tom Hanks. He's now finally back as Professor Langdon in the movie adaptation of Dan Brown's latest novel Inferno and am I glad he is. Robert Langdon wakes up to find himself in a hospital in Florence with no memory of the past 48 hours. He doesn't get much time to recover and soon finds out he's being hunted. He must team up with dr. Sienna Brooks and together they must race across Europe to stop a deadly virus from destroying our world.
