Hey everybody, 2017, so far, is of to a great start with big hits like Logan, Kong: Skull Island, Beauty and the Beast and The Fate of the Furious. The quality of the movies overal is pretty great and we haven't even entered Summer Movie Season yet. Expectations are running high for this summer season. Marvel is going to bring some firepower with not one but two new additions to the MCU, while DC is hoping for a comeback with the first female superhero movie.  Just like last year I am here to give you a look at the summer movies that will be released between May and August that will hopefully blow us away.  May May 5: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2  Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage. Hoi allemaal, Deze film stond bovenaan mijn lijst van films waar ik meest naar uitkijk in 2017 en ik kan met trots bekend maken dat  The Fate of the Furious of Fast & Furious 8  niet teleursteld. Het is erg moeilijk om een franchise te vinden die zichzelf zo blijft verbeteren als the Fast and the Furious franchise nu aan het doen is, zelfs na de dood van ster Paul Walker en de emotionele achtbaan die daarop volgde dat was Furious 7 (2015). De interactie tussen de karakters en hun vaak grappig en sarcastisch commentaar tijdens de gebeurtenissen is de ware kracht van deze franchise. Velen zullen zeggen dat deze achtste film in niets meer lijkt op het origineel uit 2001 en dat is gedeeltelijk waar. Na 16 jaar zijn de tijden heel erg veranderen en de manier van film maken ook. Hey everybody, This movie was on top of my list of most anticipated movies of 2017 and I am happy to announce that The Fate of the Furious or Fast & Furious 8  did not disappoint. It's really hard to find a franchise that keeps improving themselves the way the Fast and the Furious franchise is doing right now, even after the death of star Paul Walker and the emotional ride that was  Furious 7  (2015). The interaction between the charactars and their funny and sarcastic commentary on events is the true power of this franchise. Many of you would say that this eight installment isn't anything like the first movie that came out in 2001 and that is partly true. After 16 years time has changed and so does moviemaking. The franchise is now topping itself with all sorts of crazy stunts and action scenes involving cars, which are fun to watch nowing that that could never happen in real life. Hey everybody, I think we can all agree that Power Rangers is never going to win the Oscar for Best Picture, but the movie was never made for that purpose. It was made to pay homage to the original tv series, which I heard they did wel, I myself can't really remember anything of the original tv series since I was only a small girl when it aired. Secondly it was made to be funny and entertaining, which they surprisingly approved really well. To see the fun you have to get past the first part of the movie in which they bring the characters together in a really vage way. Once you get to the part were the teenagers must train to become the Power Rangers the movie starts to become fun. The characters all got a backstory and although these backstories aren't all worked out perfectly, the movie tried to give these kids a reason to fight and to give them a real personality. Hoi allemaal, Ik denk dat we het er allemaal mee eens kunnen zijn dat Power Rangers nooit de Oscar voor Best Picture zal winnen, maar de film was dan ook nooit gemaakt voor dit doel. Het was gemaakt als homage aan de originele tv series, wat ze goed gedaan hebben heb ik gehoord sinds ik zelf niets meer kan herinneren van de originele tv series omdat ik een klein meisje was toen het op tv was. Daarnaast is het gemaakt om grappig en entertainend te zijn, wat verrassend genoeg gelukt is. Om de lol achter de film te zien moet je eerst voorbij het eerste gedeelte van de film komen waarin ze de karakters op een extreem vage manier bij elkaar brengen. Wanneer je eenmaal aan bent gekomen bij het gedeelte waarop de tieners moeten trainen om de Power Rangers te worden, wordt de film pas echt leuk. De karakters krijgen allemaal een achtergrondverhaal, en hoewel niet al deze verhalen helemaal perfect worden uitgewerkt, probeert de film de tieners allemaal een reden om te vechten te geven en om e...

Hoi allemaal, Het zien van Beauty and the Beast deed me realiseren hoeveel ik hou van Disney klassiekers. Ik denk dat ik in mijn hart altijd dat kleine meisje zal blijven die droomt van een leven als een prinses en het vinden van de ware liefde. Ik heb genoten van elke seconde van deze film. Deze live action remake van de animatie klassieker uit 1991 brengt de magie van het origineel tot leven. Het blijft erg trouw aan het originele verhaal met maar een paar kleine aanpassingen, maar deze aanpassingen zijn alleen gedaan in het voordeel van het verhaal. De film leunt stevig op CGI, misschien een beetje te veel, maar het heeft een adembenemend resultaat. De karakters zijn grappig en charmant, en zij zijn degene die dit verhaal echt tot leven brengen. De film brengt je alle klassieke liedjes en brengt zelf een paar prachtige nieuwe. Ik had er moeite mee om niet keihard mee te gaan zingen, in plaats daarvan heb ik de hele film mee geplaybacked omdat ik de liedjes zo prachtig vind. Ik...

Hey everybody, Seeing  Beauty and the Beast  made me realize once more how much I love Disney classics. I think in my heart I will always be that little girl who dreamed of becomes a princess and finding true love. I loved every seconc of it. This live action remake of the animated classic from 1991 captures the magic of the original. It stayed very true to the original story and made only a few minor changes, but only those changes only were for the benefit of the story. The movie  relied  heavenly on CGI, maybe a bit too heavy, but it has a stunning result. The characters are funny and charming. They truely bring this tale to life. The movie brings you all the classic song and even adds a few beautiful new ones. I had trouble trying to not burst into song. Instead  I playbacked along  since I love the songs so much.
