Power Rangers (EN) Review
Hey everybody,
I think we can all agree that Power Rangers is never going to win the Oscar for Best Picture, but the movie was never made for that purpose. It was made to pay homage to the original tv series, which I heard they did wel, I myself can't really remember anything of the original tv series since I was only a small girl when it aired. Secondly it was made to be funny and entertaining, which they surprisingly approved really well. To see the fun you have to get past the first part of the movie in which they bring the characters together in a really vage way. Once you get to the part were the teenagers must train to become the Power Rangers the movie starts to become fun. The characters all got a backstory and although these backstories aren't all worked out perfectly, the movie tried to give these kids a reason to fight and to give them a real personality. I can't even get mad at the fact that they same generic supervillian who seeks to destroy the world for no good reason, since almost every other superhero movie, even big Marvel blockbusters, use that same premises. You can see Elizabeth Banks had a great time portraying Rita Repulsa, which made it fun for us to watch to. Power Rangers was an entertaining movie and I hope you'll all find the joy out of the movie like I did.
