Hey everybody, Fun fact: the original title for this movie is  Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales , but for some reason they changed that and in many other countries, including the Netherlands, it is known only as  Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge . That is the reason why my other review written in Dutch has the different name. The odds were never really in the favor for this movie, because I'm not a major fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and of Johnny Depp. However I found that it was my duty for my blog to see it and I was actually really curious. I know this is a fantasy franchise and not realistic at all, but even in this genre there are forms of unrealistic. If you look past these unrealistic moments and try to see the joy and fun of it, this movie is bareable and entertaining. Captain Jack Sparrow has his typical moments again and his character is part of the reason this movie isn't a disaster. This is one of the better sequels...

Hoi allemaal, Grappig weetje: de originele titel van deze film is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales , maar om de een of andere reden hebben ze dit veranderd en is de film in veel landen, waaronder Nederland, alleen maar bekend onder de naam Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge. Daarom is de titel van mijn andere review in het Engels ook anders. Ik ben geen groot fan van de Pirates of the Caribbean franchise en van Johnny Depp, dus het geluk stond niet echt aan de kant van deze film. Toch vond ik dat het mijn taak was als blogger om te gaan kijken en ik was ergens best wel nieuwsgierig. Hoi allemaal, Hoe maak je een vervolg op een van de grootste successen die de hele wereld VERBAASDE in 2014? Het is bijna onmogelijk, maar laat het over aan de capabele handen van Marvel om een manier te vinden.  Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) blaasde iedereen omver met zijn unieke stijl en humor. Niemand had verwacht dat het zo grappig zou zijn als het was, niemand had er überhaupt iets van verwacht. Om dat level van humor en vrijheid die ze hadden tijdens het maken van de eerste film is niet makkelijk. De humor in die film voelde zo natuurlijk en deze keer voelt de humor iets meer geforceerd, maar ook omdat iedereen er nu meer van verwacht dan de vorige keer. De hele film voelt iets meer geforceerd, maar datzelfde gevoel had ik ook tijdens Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) en dat betekent niet dat de film niet goed is. Hey everybody, How do you make a sequel to one of the biggest box office hits that took the whole world by SURPRISE in 2014? It's almost impossible, but leave it to the capable hands of Marvel to find a way. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) blew everyone away with it's unique style and humor. No one expected it to be as funny as it eventually was, no one expected it to be anything really. Topping the humor and the level of freedom they had making that first movie, isn't easy. The humor in that movie felt very natural, when this time, the humor feels just slightly more forced because this time every expects something of it. It makes the whole movie feels a bit more forced, but I had that same feeling while watching Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) and it doesn't mean the movie is bad. This time they really try to establish the characters and their motivations, which slowed the movie down sometimes, but not to the point when it can't be overcome. The movie could have us...
