Hoi allemaal, Ik moet heel eerlijk zijn, ik was een beetje sceptisch over deze film. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) had mij teleurgesteld, ik weet nog steeds waarom precies, ik miste gewoon iets. Daarom waren mijn verwachtingen voor deze film niet heel hoog, gelukkig kan een film je op die manier alleen maar verrassen toch? X-Men: Apocalypse speelt zich af 10 jaar na de gebeurtenissen van X-Men: Days fo Future Past. Wanneer zowel de titel als de slechterik de naam Apocalyps dragen, wat letterlijk het einde van de wereld betekent, verwacht ik ook wel het einde van de wereld te zien. Helaas bewaart de film dit einde van de wereld tot de laatste 30 minuten. De showdown is episch, maar je moet er wel iets te lang op te wachten. Na de evenementen uit X-Men: Days of Future Past hebben we een hele nieuwe tijdlijn gekregen, met de originele triologie nog steeds in ons achterhoofd, en er wordt nu een heleboel tijd gespendeerd om de nieuwe tijdlijn op te zetten, wat fantastisch is, ma...

Hoi allemaal, Ik denk dat ik te veel tijd spendeer in de bioscoop omdat A. de mensen die er werken mij beginnen te herkennen en B. mijn vrienden zeiden me dit: 'Manouk, jij gaat echt teveel naar de bioscoop'. Dat is best een duidelijke boodschap. Nou ik heb nu een boodschap voor jullie: ga nu en spendeer wat tijd in de bioscoop met het kijken van The Nice Guys. Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe spelen een mismatcht paar van privé detectives die onderzoek doen naar de vermissing van een jongedame en de dood van een pornoster. Ze zijn echter niet de enige die interesse hebben en de anderen zijn misschien niet zo 'nice' als dat zij zijn. De hele autorit naar huis kon ik gewoon niet stoppen met lachen, deze film was zo ontzettend hilarisch. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe maken samen het perfecte paar en bewijzen maar weer waarom ze gerespecteerde acteurs zijn. Hoi allemaal, Ik heb absoluut geen enkel verstand van financiën, de wereldeconomie of de aandelenmarkt. Ik krijg al hoofdpijn als ik er aan denk bij wijze van spreken. Waarom dan ben ik deze film gaan zien? 1. Ik was wel weer een toe aan een goede thriller 2. Omdat ik een blog schrijf over films zo ik vind het een soort van mijn plicht om zoveel mogelijk films te kijken en 3. Ik had een vrije avond dus waar beter dat te besteden als in de bioscoop Money Monster volgt tv presentator Lee Gates wanneer hij gekidnapt wordt tijdens een uitzending. Samen met zijn regisseur Pattty moet hij zich een weg praten door de situatie wanneer hun leven en die van de rest van de crew op het spel staan. Wat wil deze man van hun en is hij de echte slechterik in dit verhaal? Een goede thriller houdt je op het puntje van je stoel, toch? Laten we zeggen dat ik ergens halverwege mijn stoel zat. Hey everybody, I think I'm spending to much time in the cinema because A. the people who work there are starting to recognize me and B. my friends told me: 'Manouk, you're spending to much time in the theater'. Well that's a pretty clear message. Well I also have a message to you now: go and spend some time in the theater watching The Nice Guys!! Gosling and Crowe play a mismatched pair of private eyes who investigate the missing of a young lady and the death of a porn star. They are however not the only ones interested and the other parties involved may not be as 'nice' as they are. The whole ride home I just couldn't stop laughing. I found this movie so freaking hilarious. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe just make the perfect pair and proof why they are both well respected actors. Hey everybody, I have to be honest, I was a little sceptical about this movie. X-Men Days of Future Past (2014) was a disappointment to me, I don't know why exactly, but I missed something. My expectations for this movie were therefore not high, fortunately that way a movie can only surprise you, right? X-Men: Apocalypse continues 10 years after the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past. With both the title and the main villain called Apocalypse, which literally means end of the world, I expected to see the end of the world. Instead the movie waits until the last 30 minutes for this end of the world. The showdown is really impressive and amazing, but you'll have to wait for a little bit to long. After the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past we received a whole new timeline, with the original triology still ofcourse in the back of our heads, and we spent a lot of time in the movie building this up, which is great, but sometimes distracts from the main villain and threat. ...

Hey everybody, I don't know anything about finances, the world economy or stock markets. I get a headache when I hear any of these words so it was pretty suprising that I was interested to see this movie. Why did I went to see it then? 1. I was really looking forward to see a good thriller 2. Because I write a blog about movies so it's kind of my duty to watch as many as possible and 3. I had a free night so where better to spent it then the cinema. Money Monster follows TV host Lee Gates when he gets held hostage during a live broadcast. Together with his director Patty he has to talk and move his way through the situation when their lives and those of their crew are on the line. What does this mysterious man want and is he really the bad guy in this story? A thriller is supposed to keep you on the edge of your seat, right? Hey everybody, The first week of May is over and you're probably wondering why that is so important. Well we wouldn't be here for no reason so I will just put it out for you: the Summer Movie Season has officially begun. In the next three months a lot of movies will be released trying to take the title of biggest Summer Blockbuster. The winner of last year? Where many thought Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) would take the throne, the victor was the unexpected box office hit  Jurassic World (2015)!  So how do you pick the right choice between all these movies coming out. Hey everybody, It has been 3 days now since I saw Captain America: Civil War and my heart rate is finally starting to slow down a little bit. In my full review I've already given my compliments to the new Spider-Man but I thought it would be fun to write a little more about the famous Wall crawler. My first encounter with the Web-Slinger was in 2012 when I saw The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). I was then only 15 years old, I was a romantic comedy kinda girl and that movie totally blew me away. I always remember it as the day I became a geek . From that moment I stopped watching romantic comedies and became the superhero/fantasy/sci-fi/action loving person that I am today. So obviously for me Andrew Garfield was Spider-Man. I later saw the original triology with Tobey Magiure in the famous red and blue suite but for me he never was Spidey. Hoi allemaal, Ik weet niet of het verstandig is mijn review nu te schrijven want het is 02:00 en er giert zo vreselijk veel adrenaline door mijn lichaam, maar ik doe het toch. Het was misschien al wel bekend, maar ik ben een groot, groot Marvel fan. Ik volg alles wat ze maken, inclusief animatieseries. Marvel heeft de lat voor zichzelf dan ook best hoog gelegd en je begint je dan af te vragen of het niet te hoog is? Is het? Nee! Ze hebben zichzelf weer overtroffen met deze fantastische film. Avengers fans zijn gewaarschuwd want na Civil War zullen the Avengers nooit meer hetzelfde zijn. Ook ik moest heel erg aan het idee wennen dat de oude Avengers waarschijnlijk nooit meer helemaal zullen terugkomen, maar Marvel heeft het conflict tussen Captain America en Iron Man zo geloofwaardig en echt gemaakt dat zelfs ik kan begrijpen dat ze even niet meer aan dezelfde kant staan. Hey everybody, I am not sure if it is wise to write my review now because it's 2 am in the morning and I'm so pumped up with adrenaline, but hey I am writing it anyway. As many of you may now I am a big, big Marvel fan. I follow everything they make, animation series included. Marvel has set the bar pretty high for themselves and you start wandering if it isn't to high? Is it? No! Defenitly not, because they outdid themselves with this fantastic movie. Avengers fans are warned because after Civil War the Avengers will never be the same again. I too had to get used to the idea that the old Avengers can never really come back after this movie. But Marvel made the conflict so believable and real, even I can understand why Cap and Iron Man are not on the same side for now. What Batman v Superman (2016) failed to deliver was building up a good conflict.
