Star Trek Beyond (EN) Review
Hey everybody,
If you ever get the chance to watch a movie marathon in the theater, you should defenitly take it. I highly recommend it. It's the second time now that I have this experience, the first time was when The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies (2014) premiered, and last night I had the same experience with the premiere of Star Trek Beyond. I've spent 7 hours in the theater watching Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Star Trek Beyond and I loved every second of it!
The USS Enterprise is in the middle of its 5-year voyage to discover new uncharted worlds across the galaxy, but the journey starts to take its toll on the crewmembers and their captain. There they encounter a new and ruthless enemy, who puts them and every they stand for to the ultimate test.
So ever since I started this blog I started watching movies from a different perspective. I've become a little bit more critical, but when I watched this movie I totally forgot this point of view. I loved every second of it. The interaction between these characters is amazing and so funny, especially Spock and Bones. The action was great, but the setting is a little bit too dark sometimes, as if they were afraid to show the real action. Luckily we get plenty of perfectly visible action which was thrilling. An absolute blast!

4/5
PS The untimely death of Star Trek star Anton Yelchin (Chekov) puts a shadow on this movie, he was only 27. He played a great part, I loved his character and performance. He will be missed. I'm glad JJ Abrams has stated that his rol will not be recast and that Yelchin will remain this generation's Chekov
