The Magnificent Seven (EN) Review
Hey everybody,
Imagine this: it's Sunday evening, I've had a long week of school and work, had a lot of fun Saturday night and so I got home very late. What do I want then on this Sunday evening? A fun movie with action and humor, so I can just sit back and enjoy, and to prepare myself for the new week starting on Monday. Did I got that with The Magnificent Seven? Yes I did.
The Magnificent Seven tells the story of a little town who's been terrorised by a man named Mr Bogue. After the murder of a few townpeople, widow Emma Cullen seeks revenge. She comes across the path of Sam Chisolm and hires him to help the town defeat Mr Bogue. Together they assemble a team of extraordinary men to stand up for the town and to seek justice.
This was my first western movie, if you don't include Rango (2011), that I went to see in theatre. I didn't really know if I would like a western movie, because the genre isn't very popular in Hollywood these days. The plot is a bit thin and the motivation of the seven men to join the company isn't really clear either, but it was a fun and enjoyable movie. The action was great and so was the humor. I really liked it and I hope you will too if you see it.
