Baywatch (EN) Review
Hey everybody,
I really tried, I did honestly, but the truth is very hard: don't waste your money watching Baywatch this summer. I'm sorry Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson! You are probably the best part of this movie and you tried so hard to make it work, but you couldn't do this on your own. I normally don't go to these types of movie comedies. Comedies these days just include to many sex jokes and I'm not a fan of all that oversexed humor they feel necessary to include. It is just not funny for me. Nevertheless I put that aside and went to watch Baywatch because I love The Rock (and secretly Zac Efron ... I am, after all, still a woman 😅). It failed miserably to make me laugh for the good reasons: I started laughing because it was so bad. There was very little actual baywatching in this movie because you can't possible fill up a 2 hour movie with interesting stuff about baywatching! It worked for a limited runtime on TV, but now they had to come up with some weird storyline that didn't make sense. Oh and don't get me started on the overuse of scenes in slow motion. Unfortunately, just like with Fifty Shades Darker, the audience that is going to see this movies won't notice or matter.
