Hoi allemaal, Als je ooit de kans krijgt om een filmmarathon in de bioscoop te zien moet je die kans absoluut pakken. I raad het zeer aan. Het is nu de tweede keer dat ik deze ervaring heb mogen meemaken, de eerste keer met de premiere van The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies (2014), en afgelopen nacht met de premiere van Star Trek Beyond . Ik heb 7 uur in de bioscoop gespendeerd met kijken van Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) en Star Trek Beyond en ik heb genoten van elke seconde. De USS Enterprise is midden in zijn vijfjarige reis om nog niet in kaart gebrachte uithoeken van het heelal te ontdekken, maar de reis begint zijn tol te eisen op de bemanningsleden en hun kapitein. Wanneer ze in aanraking komen met een nieuwe en meedogenloze vijand, worden zij en alles waar ze voor staan voor de ultieme test gezet! Hey everybody, If you ever get the chance to watch a movie marathon in the theater, you should defenitly take it. I highly recommend it. It's the second time now that I have this experience, the first time was when The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies (2014) premiered, and last night I had the same experience with the premiere of Star Trek Beyond . I've spent 7 hours in the theater watching Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Star Trek Beyond  and I loved every second of it! The USS Enterprise is in the middle of its 5-year voyage to discover new uncharted worlds across the galaxy, but the journey starts to take its toll on the crewmembers and their captain. Hoi allemaal, Het is bijna niet te geloven dat dit alweer de vijfde Ice Age film is, de eerste kwam 14(!) jaar geleden uit. Je zou denken dat ze nu toch onderhand geen materiaal meer hebben om een film over te maken, maar je hebt het mis. Manny, Sid en Diego hebben al heel wat problemen doorstaan, maar in dit vijfde deel van de Ice Age franchise ontdekken ze dat een alles vernietigende asteroïde hun kant op komt. Met de hulp van hun oude vriend Buck moeten ze een manier vinden om de asteroïde te stoppen voordat deze hun huis en hun bestaan verwoest. Kijk ik weet dat dit een film is voor kinderen en dat die nooit heel erg realistisch zijn, maar ze zijn nu zeker door hun aannemelijke materiaal heen om een film over te maken. Ik ben een groot fan van de Ice Age franchise en de eerste film is een van mijn favoriete animatiefilms, maar als een echte fan moet ik toch echt zeggend dat ik hoop dat dit de laatste van de franchise was. Hey everybody, I can't beleive this is already the fifth Ice Age movie, the first one was released 14(!) years ago. You would think that by now they've run out of material, but apparently they haven't. We've seen Manny, Sid and Diego guide themselves through all sorts of problems, but in this fifth installment of the Ice Age franchise our friends and their families discover that an all destroying asteroid is heading their way. With the help of their old friend Buck they must find a way to stop this asteroid from destroying their home and their very existence. Look I know this is a children's movie and those are never very realistic, but they've clearly run out of plausible material for this franchise. I love the Ice Age franchise and the first installment is one of my favorite animated movies ever, but as a true fan I must say that I hope this one is the last one of the franchise. Hey everybody, It's been a while since you've heard from me but I've just been a little busy. Not with watching new movies but don't worry, I'll catch up. Because of all this I only just now got the time to tell you what I think of the Legend of Tarzan and it's been a couple of days already since I saw it. At least I had enough time to think about what I want to write for you. If you think the Legend of Tarzan will tell you the same story as the Disney classic  Tarzan (1999) you're so wrong. So understand that it isn't the same story otherwise you might leave the theater disappointed.  The movie follows Tarzan eight years after he left Africa and went to live in London when he is called back to the jungle.  Even I thought that it would tell the same story and I wasn't happy when I saw that it would be this dark, grim reboot. But with this different story came a different point of view and I was willing to see this new and darker Tarzan. T...

Hey everybody, When you decide to make a movie based on a game, you must know that it will only be appealing to a select group of people: the people who've played the game. Nonetheless there are always layman like me who will see it. So you have to make a movie that's understandeble for people who haven't played the game and those who know it inside out. That's not an easy job. Warcraft or Warcraft the Beginning follows the story of the war between Men and Orc and how that came to be. When the land of the Orcs is dying they go on a search for a new home: Azaroth, the home of Men. A war between the two species begins, but not all of the Orcs are on the same side. Will they find a way to coexist? So, as I previously said, I am not familiair with the world of Warcraft, but that didn't meant I wasn't willing to step into this new world with an open mind. Hoi allemaal, Ik heb gemerkt dat ik in mijn reviews vaak gebruik maak van specifiek drie woorden: het is lastig. En nou ja .. dat is wel waar. Het maken van een film is gewoon lastig en zeker het maken van een sequel op een film die zo geliefd is bij iedereen, waaronder ik. Daarnaast deed ik iets wat of het beste of het slechtste idee was: ik zag de film tijdens een filmmarathon waarin eerst Finding Nemo (2005)   werd gedraaid en daarna Finding Dory . In Finding Dory volgen we Dory in haar zoektocht naar haar familie. Deze zoektocht is niet makkelijk als je je bedenkt dat de hoofdpersoon lijdt aan korte termijn geheugenverlie. Deze aandoening is was haar een populair karakter maakte in de eerste film, maar kan een film over een vis met korte termijn geheugenverlies zichzelf dragen? Willen we 90 minuten spenderen met een hoofdpersoon die zelf constant vergeet wat ze aan het doen is en waarom? Ja, dat willen we zeker! Finding Dory bouwt op zijn fantastische karakters and met...
